Rules & Regulations

To ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable journey for everyone, please read the following guidelines before booking your trip with Tourist Canvas.

Day Outing Rules

  • Guests are requested to report at the designated pickup point at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
  • The vehicle will depart according to the scheduled itinerary. Late arrival may result in missing the vehicle.
  • Pickup and drop points will be as communicated during booking.
  • Bus Seat Selection: Seat selection will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests who complete their booking earlier will have the opportunity to choose their preferred available seat first.
  • Once a seat has been selected and confirmed, it may not be changed later, subject to availability and operational requirements.
  • Guests are requested to follow the instructions of the Tour Manager and Driver throughout the journey.
  • The itinerary may be changed or rearranged due to traffic, weather, local conditions or operational requirements.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, mobile phones, cameras and other items.
  • Alcohol, smoking or any behaviour that may disturb other travellers is not permitted during the journey.
  • Guests are expected to maintain cleanliness inside the vehicle and at sightseeing locations.

Child Policy

  • Children above 4 years of age will be charged the full fare.
  • Children below 4 years of age will not be charged if no separate seat is required.
  • If a separate seat is required for a child below 4 years of age, the applicable fare will be charged.

Refund Policy

  • Cancellation up to 20 days before the tour date: The advance payment is refundable after deduction of a ₹200 processing fee.
  • Cancellation within 20 days of the tour date: The advance payment is non-refundable.
Important: Please cooperate with the Tour Manager and maintain punctuality so that the entire group can enjoy a smooth and pleasant day.

Group Tour Rules

  • All travellers must carry a valid photo ID proof as required for the journey, hotel check-in or other services.
  • Guests must report at the designated pickup point at the scheduled reporting time.
  • The tour itinerary may be changed, rearranged or modified due to weather, traffic, local conditions, government restrictions or other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Guests must follow the instructions of the Tour Manager, Driver and local representatives throughout the tour.
  • Room allocation will be made according to the booking and room-sharing arrangement selected at the time of booking.
  • Seating arrangement in the vehicle will generally be made according to booking-date priority, subject to vehicle type and availability.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, mobile phones, cameras and other items.
  • Any additional personal expenses not specifically included in the tour package will be borne by the traveller.
  • Guests are requested to maintain cleanliness and behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, hotel staff, drivers and local people.
  • No smoking or consumption of alcohol is permitted inside the tour vehicle or during group activities where prohibited.

Child Policy

  • Children above 5 years of age will be charged the full tour fare.
  • Children between 3 and 5 years of age may be charged a child fare, depending on the tour/package.
  • Children below 3 years of age may travel without a tour fare if no separate seat, bed or meal is required.
  • If a separate seat, bed or meal is required, applicable charges may be payable.
  • Age proof may be requested at the time of booking or hotel check-in.
Note: Child fare and age criteria may vary depending on the destination, hotel, vehicle and specific tour package.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • More than 45 days before departure: 75% of the advance payment will be refundable.
  • 30–45 days before departure: 50% of the advance payment will be refundable.
  • Within 30 days of departure: The advance payment is non-refundable.
  • Any non-refundable amount already paid to hotels, transport providers, railways, restaurants or other service providers may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Important: Cancellation requests must be communicated to Tourist Canvas as early as possible. Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed after confirmation of the cancellation and applicable deductions.
If Tourist Canvas cancels a tour: In case a tour is cancelled by Tourist Canvas due to operational reasons, insufficient participation or other unavoidable circumstances, the amount paid by the guest will be refunded or an alternative/rescheduled tour option may be offered, as applicable.

General Rules

  • Booking confirmation is subject to receipt of the applicable advance/payment.
  • Package inclusions and exclusions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
  • Guests must provide correct personal information at the time of booking.
  • Any additional expenses arising from personal choices or circumstances will be borne by the traveller.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Tourist Canvas will not be responsible for loss or damage caused by negligence.
  • Any behaviour causing inconvenience, harassment or disturbance to other guests may result in removal from the tour without refund.
  • In case of unavoidable circumstances such as severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, transport disruption or other operational issues, the itinerary may be modified.

Child Policy

  • Child age and applicable charges will depend on the specific tour/package.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of children throughout the journey.
  • Child policy may vary depending on the hotel, vehicle, destination and package.
Exact child charges and age criteria will be communicated during booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation requests must be communicated to Tourist Canvas as early as possible.
  • Cancellation charges may vary depending on the tour, hotel, transport and service provider.
  • Advance/payment may be non-refundable where third-party booking charges have already been incurred.
  • Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed after deduction of applicable cancellation charges.
The applicable cancellation and refund terms for each tour will be communicated at the time of booking.
